21st Annual Wiener or Corgi Takes All Races

Celebrate 21 years of stubby-legged speed at the 21st Annual Wiener or Corgi Takes All Races. This year’s theme is Hairy Potter, with more playful puns on the way. The festivities take place at Barksdale, the former golf course just north of Allen’s Foods and Sugar Creek Shopping Center. Expect wiener and corgi matchups, races for other breeds in the Wanna-Be a Wiener or Corgi category, a musical sit contest where the last pup seated wins, a costume contest open to all breeds, K9 demonstrations, and plenty of pet vendors, local food trucks, giveaways, and more. Races continue until a champion is crowned. Spectator admission is free. All proceeds benefit the animals at the Bella Vista Animal Shelter, serving NWA for over 40 years.
