Bikes Blues and BBQ features the Dawn Cate Band on the mainstage with appearances Friday evening and Saturday afternoon. Fronted by vocalist Dawn Cate, raised in Springdale, Arkansas and the daughter of Earl Cate of the Cate Brothers Band and Earl and Them, the group brings a sound shaped by influences such as Gladys Knight, Etta James, Bonnie Raitt, and Mavis Staples. Dawn launched her career with Earl’s Garage, performing alongside her brother, Devin Cate, at venues from Tulsa to Beale Street. A founding member of Divas On Fire, she now leads her own band that blends soul, hard-hitting blues, and Americana. The Dawn Cate Trio, presented in an acoustic and electric setup, offers a more intimate take on the music while keeping the energy high and honoring the Cate family legacy.
