Explore the fundamentals of screen printing in a six-week class shaped by the streetwear energy and Pop Shop spirit linked to Keith Haring. It starts with a visit to the special exhibition Keith Haring in 3D to examine how he used strong lines, repeating icons, and approachable imagery to connect art with everyday life. In the studio, beginners receive clear, step-by-step instruction to develop a simple design, prepare screens, and produce clean prints. Participants with prior experience are invited to experiment with layered graphics, alternate color palettes, and personal motifs. Everyone creates original artwork to print on T-shirts and posters while learning core techniques including stencil creation, screen setup, ink application, and multi-pass printing. By the end, students leave with custom wearable pieces, printed posters, and the confidence to keep printing independently. All materials are provided.
