Probably the best-connected green space in NWA: walk from here to Crystal Bridges via the Heading Home Trail, or jump on 40 miles of Slaughter Pen mountain bike trails. Open until 11pm daily, which is rare for a nature space this good. Named after Dr. Neil Compton, who fought to save the Buffalo River from damming. Stunning in fall.
